I would like to take a moment to share some important news with you.

Effective immediately, I am closing our business, Rick Baker's Auto Service, to pursue a new career opportunity. I’ve been offered a corporate position a highly respected global company. In this new position, I’ll be visiting shops within a 100-mile radius to both demonstrate equipment and provide training. I’m very excited about this change, and as they say, “it’s one of those offers I couldn’t refuse.”

Since opening the shop in 1997, we’ve been honored that you selected us to service your vehicles and keep your families safe. Thank you so much for putting your trust in us and for the support you’ve given us over the past 12 years.  But, more than that, you’ve become our friends and that will not change during this transition.

Our shop has been a member of the Automotive Service Association (ASA) for many years. We highly recommend that you seek out these family-owned businesses for your future automotive service and repair needs. ASA is the largest not-for-profit trade association of its kind serving thousands of businesses globally and approximately 55,000 professionals from all segments of the automotive service industry. ASA advances the professionalism and excellence in the automotive repair industry through education, representation and member services. ASA members strive to improve the image of the industry by committing themselves to quality repairs and the best possible service at a fair price.

Member-businesses are located throughout the country and can be identified by the red, white and blue ASA sign. Consumers may also locate their nearest ASA member shop via ASA's Shop Locator, found on the association's Web Site at www.asashop.org.

Keep in mind that some of the previous repairs we’ve made for you may qualify for the ConfidencePlus North American Warranty program offered by Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper. If you should encounter a problem, please contact the Genuine Auto Parts Store in Troy at 339-2681 to inquire about eligibility. They will gladly assist in locating another Auto Value Service Center in our area.

We’re currently busy making preparations for an auction to sell our equipment. Please watch for this date to be announced — estimated early March. We’d love for you to stop by the sale to say hello.
